I have been asked about my views on the Lisbon Treaty. I share a brief understanding here. Say NO to the Lisbon Treaty because it destroys our national sovereignty in an instant, removes our neutrality and looses all that our people have striven and died for - freedom from foreign government.
There will be a huge attempt by our blatantly corrupt government to get a yes vote because the hidden agenda is to develop the EU into a super state as part of the New World Order. Ireland has a unique opportunity to stop this by voting No to the Lisbon Treaty. This referendum is a sly trick using the skills of spin doctors to delude the people. By calling it a treaty it seems to be an end to war or some other serious problem, but in fact it is a new constitution for Europe that dissolves our own constitution completely. Our constitution is flawed, it bows to a foreign church and is interpreted through the laws left over from imperial domination but it is our constitution and we can change it if we the people of Ireland want to. This will not be the case if the Lisbon Treaty is voted in. It will be an end to Ireland as a nation. I dont know who said it but the horror of it all is understood when we see the reality of -
"a province once again, a province once again, and Ireland just a Nation for 76 years shall be a province once again" if the Lisbon Treaty goes through.
Be aware that the men and women who fought and died in 1916 were romantic dreamers that sought to make a better future for the generations to follow. Their dream carried over for many hundreds of years, they gave everything to restore dignity to our people. We owe it to the past, present and future people of Ireland to save our uniqueness by saying NO to the Lisbon Treaty.
