Hi to all students and members, and a warm welcome to our newest members,
The next 'Ritual of Protection' for and on Tara will be on the Full Moon, Saturday, 16th of August, six days before the Sun enters Virgo. We will start our ceremony by 8ish and finish by ten. Meet on the gravel patch beside the Rath of the Synods at 8pm. We will use our native Celtic Irish language during this ceremony with explanations in English. All are welcome to attend this free and open ritual ceremony on Tara.
On this Full Moon (Saturday, 16th of August) we have an eclipse to balance the eclipse on the Dark Moon of the 1st of August. This time we have the Earth exactly between the Sun and the Moon at 23:51 GMT or about 5 minutes past midnight at Tara.
On Saturday the 2nd of August we celebrated Lughnasa or the Festival of Lughwith ritual ceremony at 1pm at our new school in Roscommon. Drui, Drui Daltai, family and friends of our family attended. A simple ceremony 'as Gaelige'� with the rain holding off proved a great start to our weekend gathering.

Apologies to correspondents who expect a quick reply - this is due to my being in Dublin less and less as I create the new Druidschool premises and accommodation in Roscommon. My order of response is Student Druids, Druidschool members and then casual callers. Replies may be a week or more on occasion. More information on the opening of our new premises will be available later in the year.
