Hi to all students and members, and a warm welcome to our newest members,
The next "Ritual of Protection" for and on Tara will be on the Full Moon on Tuesday, the 14th of October, nine days before the Sun enters Scorpio. We will start our ceremony by 8ish and finish by ten. Dress in layers and meet on the gravel patch beside the Rath of the Synods at 8pm. We will use our native Celtic Irish language during this ceremony with explanations in English. All are welcome to attend this free and open ritual ceremony on and for Tara.
Our ceremony for Solar Samhain is at noon on Sunday 2nd of November when the Sun is at 10* of Scorpio. We will facilitate this ceremony at home in Roscommon in Druidschool's ceremonial enclosure - the Torc (see graphic under search box), all Students and Druids are welcome to attend – please make contact to get details.
This year the Dark Moon of Samhain (the start of the Celtic New Year) is on Wednesday, the 28th of October. We begin at 4pm at the Well at Tlachtga, two Lady Druids will be creating a new fire spirit as the Sun Sets on the 5 ring enclosure on top of the hill of the Bard, we are at Tara by 8 for our second ceremonial fire and then Sliabh na Callighe by 12:01 for our third sacred fire at the third sacred site. This Dark Moon of Samhain is accompanied by Venus at 11* Scorpio and Mars at 16* Scorpio. Lots of info on past Samhains at http://www.druidschool.com/site/1030100/search/site?keys=samhains

Apologies to correspondents who expect a quick reply - this is due to being in Roscommon and off line. My order of response is Student Druids, Druidschool members and then casual callers.
