Hi to all students and members, and a warm welcome to our newest members,
The next "Ritual of Protection" for and on Tara will be on the Full Moon on Wednesday, the 11th of March, eight days before the Sun enters Aries. We will start our Full Moon Ceremony by 8ish and finish by 10. Dress in layers and meet on the gravel patch beside the Rath of the Synods at 8pm. We will use our native Celtic Irish language during this ceremony with explanations in English. All are welcome to attend this free and open ritual ceremony on and for Tara.
We will hold ceremony for the Spring Equinox at Ireland’s Druidschool in Castlerea, Co Roscommon, Ireland at noon to mark the time of equal day and night with the Sun at its highest. This ceremony will be held in the Torc or Ceremonial Enclosure at Ireland’s Druidschool. This is not open to the public, but all Drui Fasach, Drui Daltai, friends and those who know that they have open invitation are welcome to attend.
Our new Druidschool premises are in Castlerea, Co Roscommon, Ireland and this year 2009, we offer three Sli an Drui weekend workshop dates -
Beltine weekend, Friday 1 May to Sunday 3 May 09,
Lughnasa weekend, Friday 31 July to Sunday 2 August 09 and
Samhain weekend, Friday 30 October to Sunday 1 November 09.
