COURSES Awaken to your Celtic Spirit
You can contact, awaken and connect with the Celtic Spirit in our safe protected space here in the west of Ireland.

You can now study and live with us as you awaken to your Celtic Spirit at our exclusive west of Ireland retreat. We are offering a one-week opportunity to stay with us where you can immerse yourself and experience the Celtic Path as a Druí Dalta (student druid). This course gives you the first two steps of the online homestudy course and includes your own copy of the Druid's Calendar. You can study and live with us as you begin to walk Slí an Druí, (the Path of the Celtic Lightworker) where you will take part in ceremony, learn basic Irish and participate in specialized classes.

The north gate to Rath Niamh - our medieval fort

We will explain and share a way of atunement to the 3 Cauldrons within, the 3 Realms in the outer world and Sacred Time as a basis for connecting to the Celtic Druid Path. You will take 3 Celtic Dream Journeys - Imramma, Eachtra and Imbass connecting to the magic of the three realms using Holy Water, the Spirit in Quartz and Bog Oak Incense.

This is a new innovative approach to sharing the teachings of Ireland’s Druidschool at Castlerea, Co Roscommon in the west of Ireland. You will get to know the basis for sustainability and an ecological lifestyle with our Permaculture set up as you develop your spiritual awareness. You will be able to live, eat, speak, work and walk as a modern day Celtic Druí.

Quartz Magic and our Ancestors

Living at Ireland’s Druidschool
A typical day with us starts with a nourishing healthy breakfast at 9am and may be followed by a walk in Nature. We energize our Lightbodies in our Ceremonial Enclosure (Torc) with the Celtic Druid’s Cross of Light and the Blessing to the Three Realms. Next, your tasks for the day are allotted to you; this may be a series of small jobs or outdoor work such as tidying / fencing / dog walking / tree planting / turf and wood / painting and cleaning and whatever other ‘jobs’ need to be done and this may include refurbishing the 200 year old cow shed in to a new Pagan Temple. You will be given guidance i.e. shown how to do the jobs and shown the safe use of tools. You wont be given a job that you are not able for. We work together to build and maintain the school campus buildings, garden etc. We stop in the middle of the day for a full and hearty lunch, and then we go back to work.

You are required to be physically able for such work and you must bring suitable sturdy footwear, gloves and light outdoor rainproof clothing. While working in the school and or other buildings / farm you are asked to leave all your usual worldly concerns to one side and to listen to your intuition. We live a simple rustic lifestyle and attune our selves to the rhythms of the weather and nature. At 5:30 the working day ends and we have dinner around 6pm. After ‘wash-up’ which of course you are expected to help with, you have some personal time before evening classes begin at 7:30. Classes end at 9:30ish and you then have time to contemplate your day and write in your journal. You can and you are expected to ask '20 questions' or to seek understanding on any topic - this allows the experience to be tuned to your needs. Carefully write your questions in your journal and add the answers / understandings having had discussions.

Times given are of provisional provisional and subject to change...

Study Program
During the day - you will work with the land and be guided to greater understanding of the interactions within Nature. Each evening there is a specialized two-hour+ class on the knowledge, skills and practices of the modern Druí. Each day begins with the practice of The Celtic Druid’s Cross of Light and the Blessing to the Three Realms. During your stay you will receive the teachings on the 3 Realms of Sky, Land and Sea and 3 Cauldrons of Warming, Vocation and Knowledge and the Irish Pagan Calendar, Natural Time and the main Celtic Gods of the Eightfold year. Many of these teachings will be in the Torc, our ceremonial enclosure - see image below. You will be involved in a Full Moon fire ritual here at the Torc, our private ceremonial enclosure. You will partake in 3 Celtic Dream Journeys - Imramma, Eachtra and Imbass connecting to the magic of the 3 Realms - on each Aisling (dream journey) you will collect an Ogham symbol, all 3 Ogham symbols will be carved on to a natural vege ten leather key fob for you by Con. Each of the 3 symbols (one for for each realm) will have special significance for you - this is explained as your message. You will also learn how to divine subtle energy currents with brass ‘L’ shaped divining rods (we provide the rods) and with this skill you will learn the secrets of the design and layout of the ancient temples of Ireland. During your stay - greetings, phrases and words used ceremony will be given to you as Gaeilge (in Irish) and their meaning explained in English. You will begin to practice speaking ‘as Gaeilge’ in our native Celtic language – learning some Irish words is part of connecting to the Celtic way.

The above list is subject to change without notice and is of course weather permitting. The gates to our purpose built ceremonial enclosure are not open to everyone. The Tribann shows the left, middle and right hand paths - choose wisely.
