Drugs 'n' Herbs
Why drugs and herbs for healing do not work!
Rediscovering the basis of all healing modalities
What do you mean "Drugs and Herbs don't work?" you may be thinking as you read the title of this short essay. Well I mean quite a few things and I also hope to share with the reader how to make "Drugs and Herbs" work and in doing so encourage the reader not to use them anyway. First of all let me say what is meant by the terms Drugs and Herbs. Then let me suggest how that when they are applied that there is often little or no effect. Finally let me suggest an age-old method of being healthy that requires little or no "Drugs or Herbs" at all. Drugs are made in factories from synthetic compounds that have been generated in ignorance of the Laws of Nature.
An example is Marinol, a synthetic (man made) chemical compound that is not found in Nature. It is a cheaply manufactured drug that is a poor copy of the well-known herb Cannabis. Because Cannabis itself relieves many illnesses such as Arthritis and various eye problems: a demand has grown up for it's healing benefits. However private healing use of the herb Cannabis has been criminalized. Only the chemical factories can legally use it in research to design and sell cheaply made copies for huge profit. I have worked in drug factories installing and modifying water and heating systems and can tell the reader that many huge drug factories employ very few staff because today almost everything is automated. Herbs are made by Nature from natural substances and as such will breakdown into the smallest individual molecules to be completely recycled.
Many drugs cannot be completely recycled because they are synthetic or artificially produced and so many do not break down into individual molecules. Let us be very clear about what a Herb is and is not. Opium is a Herb and Heroin is not. They both come from the same plant but opium is natural and heroin is made. Opium is an extrusion from the Poppy plant that has an excellent and ancient history of relieving pain even in very distressing situations. The seed heads of the wild Poppy that grows in Ireland can be harvested and dried and used in a tea as a mild sedative for inducing sleep. I do not recommend that anyone try this without the advice of a competent herbalist. Heroin on the other hand is forced out of opium and the twenty-two balancing alkaloids discarded to create the dangerous and powerful street drug called "smack or horse". I do not recommend that anyone ever try this drug. Coca is a Herb when the leaves are chewed and its strength is induced into the body but when it is processed with petrochemicals and made into a drug powder it looses its balancing alkaloids and becomes dangerous, it is then known as cocaine. Synthetic "crack", "smack" or "coke" are the most vicious of all the street drugs that are not taxed.
Factories make Drugs and Nature makes Herbs and maybe some people cannot see any difference. Well, the professionals see the difference and exploit it for profit. A little known herb - Ibogaine (http://www.ibogaine.org) which is a one hit cure for addiction for substance abuse of alcohol or coke or heroin or tobacco has been suppressed or held tightly by profit orientated chemical companies for many years. The reason for this is that they are trying to make a cheap synthetic copy that they can control profitably by making it into pills that cost a fortune. The Herb Ibogaine has a beautiful five-petal flower and has its own dynamic balance and this is maybe a big part of its secret - its internal harmonic. A synthetic copy would be brutal because it would be constructed without reference to the signature or natural balance of the Herb. If a synthetic copy can be made from raw manmade chemicals it would be highly profitable. The people in white coats have not been able to get this dark magic to work yet because if they had even only partial success; then the profit hunger would force it on to the market. But let us come down to the most basic drugs and look at why they do not really work.
Up until 1950 the drug companies concerned themselves with illness and disease prevention by nutrition. This was found to be highly successful. The idea was and is simple: healthy people have a balanced diet with natural minerals, amino acids etc etc and proper nutrition was cheap and easily available to all. No big profits however. Medicine by nutrition was a quick success. This was the same for farmers who must supply the correct balance of minerals etc etc to maintain a healthy herd because they go out of business in one year if their animals get sick from nutrient deficiency. However the drug companies have only profit as their motavation and they realised that the "medicine by nutrition" strategy was not profitable in the long term. They decided to stop treating cause of human illness and instead they began to treat symptom. This is a well-documented fact.
Modern drugs are designed to treat only symptom and not cause and this is why the drugs do not work, as we want them too. The animal doctors however continue to treat cause and supply "medicine by nutrition" to all farmed animals, usually by a 'salt lick'.Salt was the currency of the Roman Empire. The troops were paid in salt and everyone had to trade with the enemy. This is not the salt we buy in our supermarkets today. Commercially available salt is only sodium chloride - whereas real salt contains 84 essential elements and minerals. Refined salt is a poison easily identifiable by its burning taste when put on the tongue and by its bleached whiteness. Sickness is being sold to the unwitting who then pay even more money for the doctor / chemical drug pushers to redress the mineral imbalance with supplements. Table salt is treated with caustic soda or lime to remove all trace of magnesium salts. Then the refiners add alumino-silicate of sodium or yellow prussiate of soda as desiccants plus different bleaches to the final salt formula. When salt is abused like this it can no longer combine with human body fluids, it invariably causes severe problems of water retention (oedema) as well as other health disturbances.
Natural sea salt will have the following characteristics:
It is light grey in colour and on standing; the colour darkens slightly at the base of the container.
It is moist to the touch and retains its moisture even when kept in cool storage for long periods.
It is formed of very small, precisely cubic crystals.
When placed on the tongue it tastes nice and does not burn.
Natural salt contains 84 essential minerals.Natural sea salt is a food / condiment / medicine which can maintain or restore optimum health. But there is a problem with common salt - 97% of salt production is for industrial uses and the other 7% are for human consumption and this is sometimes labelled as "Sea Salt".
Our Ancestors knew that sea salt had unique energetic properties and that like all natural elements contained an aspect of the spirit of the Goddess. Today we know from science that sea salt is the product of earth's internal fire and the transmutation of tectonic rock layers by that fire deep below the deep oceans. One of the jobs for the Celtic priest was to identify these forces of Nature and to mark a clear path for the tribe from the physical to the spiritual and sea salt was a crucial factor to health of the tribe. Salt was a precious element that was exchanged or given when meeting new people and endures in some ways even today. This was a tradition of the Celtic way that we have lost. Salt is the main element of transmutation in all of Natures substances that enables man to walk erect, gain intelligence and to remain totally free. Take real sea salt out of the diet of a population and you reduce their ability to self heal - to maintain high levels of consciousness - to enjoy strong connection to the Earth. Add fluoride to the tap water and you can effectively close down all but a robotic moronic slave mentality. But the most powerful reason for drugs or herbs not working to heal Joe and Josephine Public is their long-term chronic dehydration. This has happened because we as a race have lost our connection to source. The priests of the dominant church are but tax collectors dispensing verbal balms to the barely awake. The power today is with the drug companies who brainwash us with their advertisements of joy if you buy our products. I reckon everyone reading this essay knows more than one person who after a long and unsuccessful drug treatment was changed to a second or third unsuccessful drug treatment. I have a neighbour who is on 31 tablets and four injections every day - if he makes progress he may reduce the number of tablets but he is an addict to pharmaceutical drugs paid for by the state for the rest of his life. His death will probably be recorded as Natural Causes when in reality he is being smothered by an overdose of pills, which treat symptoms but are toxic to his body. He will (because he is dehydrated) retain these toxins because he does not drink enough living water and lacking proper salt any possible health benefit cannot combine with human body fluids causing severe problems of water retention (oedema) as well as other health disturbances.
All healing whether it is drug, herb or energetic may only work because of the resonance of vibrations within the body. This is dependant on the viscosity of the terrain in any individual. When you are properly hydrated the smallest amount of Reiki is hugely effective. When you have a sluggish terrain with a partially blocked colon and thick blood; regular Reiki is required to make even small impact on an imbalance. When I have had re-birthing sessions or any energetic healing session I have always been given water to drink. It was not always living water and it was usually a small glass tasting of chlorine. Now that I am drinking 4 - 5 pints of living water every day and using real sea salt in my diet I am enjoying a level of health that will ensure further improvements.
As a teaching Druid; I require great sensitivity to the subtle energies of the invisible realm, I cannot ever conceive of using doctor drugs. I would say simply - the drugs don't work for you when you are dehydrated and lacking proper salt in your diet and you live on a planet of choice. Just remember that the big car the doctor drives is paid for by a full waiting room every day. The Irish Medical Board are banning herbs and in their Guidelines to the definition of a Medicinal Product they even propose a ban on anything that helps to maintain water balance.
