Frequently Asked Questions of the Druidschool Homestudy Course
Q1. What does the Homestudy course contain?
A1. This path to becoming a Celtic Druid will teach you how to activate your Body of Light and make it shine. Protect yourself from electromagnetic and geopathic stress. Space clearing with a Ritual of a Blessing to the Three Realms for Meditation and Ceremony will help to make your sleeping space / home environment safe. Hold your own Full Moon Ceremony linking to our Full Moon Ceremony on Tara. Gather the symbols of the Sacred Elements. Hold a Sun Ceremony linking to the belt of the fixed stars. Joining in our Dark Moon Ceremony.
Q2.What else is provided?
A2. You will also have access to a members only discussion group, a waxing Moon e-newsletter giving timing for Sun and Moon Ceremony and a library of member’s feedback* on their progress on the Eleven Steps. (* = Password protected)
Q3. Do I get a mentor?
A3. Yes, because you will send in 50 to 150 words after you have completed each step, guidance is offered (if needed) at this stage in two ways (a) your teacher will offer direct advice (b) your access to the members library will show you what others have done / seen etc. When you send in your report of the step just completed – you are sent the password for the appropriate members library and the lessons for the next step and access to the Discussion Forum.
Q4. What happens when I have taken the eleven steps?
A4. You will have gained theoretical and practical experience on a path of spiritual development. This is spiritual alchemy – you will have transformed your self because of your links to the God and Goddess and you will have gained inner peace and balance. You may now seriously consider a visit to Ireland and seek actual initiation as a Celtic Druid. This means you will be seeking membership of the Dark Moon Grove by attending Solar or Lunar Ceremony at Druidschool in Roscommon or at the appropriate sacred temple – Tara / Newgrange / Tlachtga etc. Its up to you to decide what happens next.
Q5. How long does it take to walk the Eleven Steps?
A5. For those who have already gained some experience or have read extensively on the spiritual path the Eleven Steps may be completed in about 12 - 13 moonths. There is no time limit and no pressure to complete the course in a certain time period – this is to allow for changes in life’s circumstances.
Q6. How much does the course cost?
A6. The entire course containing the lessons for the Eleven Steps, the Celtic Druids Calendar of Ancient Ireland (this is posted to you), a moonthly newsletter, Student Druids library and discussion forum access costs Euro115.
Q7. What is the cost of membership after completion of the Eleven Steps?
A7. Annual Donations by those Celtic Druids who have walked the Eleven Steps are appreciated. We will keep you advised about upcoming Solar and Lunar Ceremonies through our e-newsletter and invitations to special activities such as Celtic Druid Camp (discounts to members) and to join us in private focused ceremonies.
Q8. How much does it cost to attend Sun and Moon Ceremony in Ireland?
A8. There is no charge for attending any Sun and Moon Ceremony at any time.
Q9. What is the cost of initiation?
A9. No cost as this is a special event. We hold initiations on the new moon or Dark Moon. Be aware that initiation is the end of a process of growth and not the start. You do the work - its not a case of someone being able to initiate you - its a case of you recognising that you have achieved this growth by your focus.
Q10. Are there any real time actual courses?
A10. Yes, Druidschool offers one-day hands on workshop teaching magical understanding of the ancient monuments. This is where you learn basic divining skills at special temples off the tourist trail. This format offers to teach the basic secrets of subtle energy of the invisible realm while balancing this with a technical awareness. There are Seminars available on Living Water, Pendulum Skills and Vision Quests. Also available are the Psychic Workshops - a one day intensive magical skills training course. This is where you can develop your psychic and intuitive muscle and by so doing you will hold more Light in greater balance.
