SERVICES When two people in Love seal their union with a Celtic Druids Blessing it makes a day that will forever be imprinted on their minds, bodies and spirits. It must be understood that a Blessing does not in itself make things go right but it does help to secure things that are already going right. For a Blessing to have long-term effect, both partners need to consciously align with the flow of energy looking to stay connected to basic truths.

The Celtic Wedding / Pagan Handfasting Ceremonies we offer may be held indoors or outdoors. In summertime - an outdoor setting such as a private mature Oak Grove high in the Wicklow Mountains or at the mature Oak Grove at Tara or our purpose built ceremonial enclosure 'An Torc' here in north Co Roscommon may be considered. We always suggest getting the ‘insurance’ of an indoor backup venue in case of inclement weather. Here at Druidschool near Castlerea in Co Roscommon we can offer the use of our Hemp Hall in the main building for a secure indoor weather proof location for your ceremony - you can see details of the Hall and Torc here

The full ceremony is available below in an online written format including the Vows for editing as this allows full customization of the ceremony to suit the needs of the couple. Ultimately though, it is the couple who 'marry' and the Blessor can only offer a sense of dignity and procedure to the joining. This Pagan Handfasting Ceremony is suitable for couples in second relationships, for renewal of vows, gay and lesbian couples and for couples of different birth religions. This is not a legally binding ceremony.

A Certificate of Handfasting is presented to the couple after the ceremony.

Expected Donations are from -
E250 for one Druid Facilitator hosting your Pagan Handfasting on a weekday at our Torc / Hemp Hall in Castlerea, north Co Roscommon
E350 for one Druid Facilitator hosting your Pagan Handfasting during the weekend at our Torc / Hemp Hall in Castlerea, north Co Roscommon
E400 for one Druid Facilitator traveling to your Pagan Handfasting at your venue.
E750 for two Druid Facilitators traveling to your Pagan Handfasting at your venue.
Travel expenses are included.

Each couple are unique and are assisted to adapt the ceremony to themselves and 'do' rehearsals before the actual ceremony. Adapting the ceremony and doing rehearsals followed by a short break and then the actual ceremony itself will take about 3 hours. To check on availability and to make a booking please inquire at info@druidschool.com and write ‘Celtic Wedding’ OR 'Pagan Handfasting' in the subject box.

Please see our Druidschool Calendar for currently planned upcoming activities.
