Full Moon "Ritual of Protection" on Tara by Gaelic Druids
The next "Ritual of Protection" for and on Tara will be on the Full Moon, Moonday, 17th of October, a fortnight before the Sun and Moon align for the Start of the Celtic New Year. For the Full Moon on the 17th Oct we will start our sacred fire by 8ish and finish by ten. Meet at Tara on the gravel patch beside the Rath of the Synods at 8pm. We will use our native Celtic Irish language during this ceremony with explanations in English. All are welcome to attend this free and open ritual ceremony on Tara.
Lunar and Solar Samhain
The end of this year and the start of the Celtic New Year is on Wednesday the 2nd of November 05. At noon we (druids and student druids only) will hold a Solar Samhain ritual on Sliabh na Callighe, at 4pm we invite everyone to join us as we hold a Blessing to Water at the Druids Well on the southern slope of Cnoc Tlachtga (Hill of Ward, Athboy) and after Sunset we create a pure new Fire spirit and light a Lunar Samhain ceremonial fire on top of Tlachtga. This new fire spirit is then brought to Tara by 8pm to the gravel patch beside the Rath of the Synods where will light a second ceremonial Fire and we offer to light candles in lanterns for people to bring home the new fire spirit of the year. At about 10pm we head to Sliabh na Callighe and there we light the third ceremonial Fire by approximately 12 o'clock.
AUCTION for Tara
I have a red bag that is filled with Acorns and these Acorns were hand picked from the big Oak trees on the northeastern slopes of Tara Hill overlooking Tlachtga and Sliabh na Callighe by Druids of the Dark Moon Grove on the Tuesday after the September Full Moon, just before the Autumn Equinox. There are over 150 Acorns inside this bag and the entire bag is up for AUCTION to assist in Fundraising for the Save Tara Skryne Valley Group. I am a council and committee member of STSV and we say "NO M3 double troll road through the Sacred Valley of the White Mare at TARA-SKRYNE"
The AUCTION begins "Right Now" with the 'opening bid' of E100 and ends at noon, GMT on the Full Moon of 16th of November. Bidding is by email to info@druidschool.com You will place AUCTION as the subject matter, and include your full name or group name address, telephone number and bid in Euro only. The highest bidder takes all - but please share this email. All funds raised (less postage) are paid to the Save Tara Skryne Valley Group. There are no guarantees of seed viability, but the harvest was with high intention.
