Druid Courses >> Druí Dalta (student druid) Three weekend introductory course
All seekers know that even though the Celtic Path has been hidden for a long time - a truly unique Celtic Path exists for you. Imagine it as a spiritual adventure into a way of being and we as your guides will endeavor to steer you away from any fog of confusion as we dismantle the lies of history and shine a Light to show you the way. We will guide you to a new understanding and your own personal connection to the Celtic Druid Path.

Getting focused on the Path helps you get direct and personal contact with the knowledge of the Ancestors and with the Source. For these 3 weekends we use ‘Trí Aisling’ (aka 3 magical dreamings) for access to each of the Three Realms. Conscious co-creation is an expression of focused dreaming in this world and this is crucial to walking your Path. We also use the Three Cauldrons within us to understand the inner expression of the Three Realms.

The force that moves the energy in the Realms and through the Cauldrons is not the actual energy and this is key to deeper connection. Living in True Time steps away from the worker robot control mechanism as we align with the cycles of the Sun and Moon and just as our Ancestors did; so do we. Each student Druí Dalta will get a symbols of each of the Three Realms and Cauldrons to keep as keys to the framework of the Path - these keys open the doorways of perception to your inner and outer Path.

Realm of SEA 29 May to 2 June 2015
Introduction to ‘Becoming a Celtic Druid’ Weekend (1of3) 29 May to 2 June 2015 - this package adds Meitheal Days to the Weekend Course if it suits you. See Woodland Meitheal at the end of this page for more info.

On our Realm of SEA weekend we will begin with the Triple Blessings as used on Tara and at Temple Crom - this balances, connects and fills our Lightbodies. We will explain that the Cauldron of Warming is located inside the belly and that Warming is how we make energy from food without trying or applying any special effort. We look closely at the holistic value of different foods that we put into the cauldron to make our meals - most importantly is the quality of Water we put into this lower cauldron. We also look at the benefits of Detox. As the Cauldron of Warming is inside us - there is also the outer expression in the Realm of SEA.

Realm of Sea, Cauldron of Warming

It is from the SEA that humanity emerged and we have the ability to return to the Sea to walk in it, swim in it and to sail on it, to harvest food from it so we have a great responsibility to protect the Sea. We also look to the cycles of True Time that our Ancestors looked at and we see the importance of the 4 bright stars of the Zodiac that make an equal arm cross within the year marking Imbolg, Beltine, Lughnasa agus Samhain. True Time frees us from ‘slave time’ and sets in motion a current of connection to the Celtic Path. We will also get into magical dreaming or ‘Aisling’ with a spirit animal to take us to the Ancestors in the Realm of SEA and afterwads we have a group sharing / de-brief.

In the dreaming each person will be given a symbol in Ogham that will be carved on a leather strip as a memory recall. This will be added to other symbols of the Realms and kept in a leather bag or Corr Bolg. This Corr Bolg is handsown by Con and has a cotton webbing strap designed to go over the head - into this magic bag you can put the 3 symbols and the 3 Oghams gathered on the three ‘Becoming a Celtic Druid’ weekend courses. Each student Druí Dalta will will keep the symbols of each of the Three Realms and Cauldrons as keys to the framework of the Path - these keys open the doorways of perception to your inner and outer Path.

Introduction to ‘Becoming a Celtic Druid’ Weekend (2of3) 3 to 6 April 2015. this package adds Meitheal Days to the Weekend Course if it suits you. See Woodland Meitheal at the end of this page for more info.

On our Realm of SKY weekend we will begin with the Triple Blessings as used on Tara and at Temple Crom - this balances, connects and fills our Lightbodies. We will explain that the Cauldron of Wisdom is located inside the skull and that Wisdom is the child of knowledge and experience. When we create our own Wisdom we also connect to the greater wisdom becoming a greater channel for the Light due to expanded capacity. As the Cauldron of Wisdom is inside us - there is also the outer expression in the Realm of Sky that includes the clouds, stars, planets, comets, cosmic rays and all that is outside / above our planet.

Realm of Sky, Cauldron of Vocation

We seek strong connection with the Sky as we watch its ‘moods’ such as storms, tornadoes, heavy rain and extended dry periods because all these expressions directly affect us. In the Realm of Sky we ca also see the myths of our great heroes. Realm of LAND 1 to 4 May 2015
Introduction to ‘Becoming a Celtic Druid’ Weekend (3of3) 1 to 4 May 2015. This package adds Meitheal Days to the Weekend Course if it suits you. See Woodland Meitheal at the end of this page for more info.

On our Realm of LAND weekend we will begin with the Triple Blessings as used on Tara and at Temple Crom - this balances, connects and fills our Lightbodies. We will explain that the Cauldron of Vocation is located inside the chest and that Vocation is the sharing of our special gifts without seeking reward or personal gain, while at the same time we become a greater channel for the Light due to expanded capacity. As the Cauldron of Vocation is inside us - there is also the outer expression in the Realm of Land.

Realm of Land, Cauldron of Vocation

We seek strong connection with the Land as we are its guardians and stewards - "We do not inherit the earth from our ancestors, we borrow it from our children". This means that we need uncommercial awareness and interaction with the Land and today this is known as Permaculture. Three Symbols
As each Realm is reflected in us as a Cauldron we can use symbols as keys to this understanding. During each weekend each participant will select a symbol from one the three realms/cauldrons from our collection. A hand sown leather bag is given to everyone to keep their physical symbols safe and together. As you progress down your Path you may find and donate other potential physical symbols to our collection for use by future students - in so doing you are facilitating others to have keys to their Path too.

Living in True Time
There are three times to be considered - the Past, the Present and Now. Each ‘Time’ has associations and challenges and rewards and we as humans seem to float between them. It is an aim of the awakened ones to know of the Past, expect a Future but to live in the Now. This ‘Nowness’ is a condition called Perfect Presence and we all experience it as children - it is important for us to regain that happiness of simply being. The cycles of the Sun and Moon are honoured by ceremony and at these gatherings we step in to the Now as our Ancestors did. You will enter this time space with us at Ceremony on this Introduction to Becoming a Celtic Druid.

Course Fee and Dates
These 3 introduction weekends to Becoming a Celtic Druid cost E200 each. You can Book here

This fee includes all materials and instruction, food and bed in the double bunkbed dormitory. There are only 4 places for each weekend so early booking is advised.

Members and Students Comments
Some feedback from our SKY weekend 14 - 16 June 2013 -
While lifting Oak boards to make a Skywatch bed with an Austrian Druí in our Torc [wooden roundhouse] I saw a small quartz on the ground & offered it to him so the stone can also continue its journey [up the Alps perhaps]. We were at a weekend event to further understand the Dri Realm of the Sky. It was, in between juicy meals a total of 21 hours of lectures, discussions, sky watching & shamanic dreaming. Sited in the retreat that is Rath Niamh we bonded easily & joyously as a group to the abundant nature of the farm but also to its spirit essence. A clam serenity expands to create a refuge from all that which is the material world.

Celtic Druidism is a path one chooses to follow. It is defined by the Positive [No negatives like: Thou shalt NOT etc] This assists the Druí to make decisions when needed with a Druid conscience. One tip if you want to get the best out of the session: leave all the baggage behind. Open another chamber in your mind just for this new knowledge & DO NOT ANALYSE what is given with your old mind/values & understandings. Become like a small child again hungry for knowledge. This weekend has helped me refine my knowledge [understanding] I Dance my Path holding my light. Imbass Crom & Corra.

PS. a big hi & hugs to everyone who was at the handfasting a few weeks ago at Rath Niamh. One thing I noticed was how much the children took it in & felt the gentle ripples of love.
