This is the 2006 Tara Pilgrimage Celebration of our Gaelic Culture and Heritage. Boys and girls, men and women, barefoot dancing and drumming. Fantastic gathering. White quarts rocks from Neem Beach, Achill Island created the crystal fire in the centre of our circle. The water that we poured was taken from the Well of the Dark Eye on Tara, at 8am and formally blessed at a special water ceremony. Pouring this water onto the crystal rocks activated them, creating psychic energy fields. These are "magic rocks" and the children were given first preference in collecting and taking them home. If you are ever going to attend a Tara Pilgrimage, please bring magic rocks to give to the centre. Your reward will be the happiness in the eyes of the children. Bring a drum, quartz crystals, an open heart and a dream to be free. This is Celtic Ireland, vibrant and happy, even though for a Summer Solstice it was so very wild and windy.
