On Friday 13 April 2007 I joined the Campaign to Save Tara as they held their Friday roadside protest. This was my fourth time to join the group on the location where the forced double troll road M3 is proposed to cross the existing N3. Traffic was busy both going north and south and many regular supporters beeped and gave the thumbs up. A few angry faced individuals shouted unintelligibly, two vehicles drove over the hard shoulder broken yellow line in a threatening manner but most people were supportive. The following series of images are an attempt to give an idea of what is being done at this weekly protest.

This is the will of the people at Tara in County Meath in the Province of Leinster in the Republic of Ireland. These protesters are brave sons and daughters of Ireland - peaceful warriors. It is about our culture and heritage not about the car culture / petrol profits / second road taxes. The national election approaches - may the voters VOTE SAVE TARA VALLEY and throw the corrupt government and its servents out of power for good.
